Mitiku Kebede is a dedicated coffee producer from Gerisse, Yirgacheffe, who supports his wife and four children by managing a 3-hectare farm at a high altitude of 2,120 meters. After his family’s livelihood was threatened by aging, diseased trees, Mitiku revitalized his land to produce an average of 4,500kg of natural-processed coffee annually. Beyond his own farm, he serves as a community leader, mentoring neighboring farmers to enhance both their yields and the distinct flavor profiles of the region's specialty coffee.
