A LIFELONG PROJECT

"My vision is to improve my estate. To reinvest in an organic composting plant and a bio garden."

Wilder Facundo

"My estate is everything to me. I work hard on it. This is my passion, my life", Wilder chirps. He started working in coffee when he was six years old, helping his father and 8 brothers on their coffee lands. Witnessing the suffering life in the fields caused his father, at 16, he decided to seek another life and chose to study. However, as soon as he turned 18, he had to quit his studies to help his ill father manage the estate. Wilder has been part of Churupampa since the very beginning of the company, "I've seen how it's grown, how it's evolved. They've taught me how to do things differently". Today, he's working on becoming 100% self-sufficient and diversifying his crops even more. Besides growing passion fruit and banana, Wilder also has pigs, hens, and a composting plant. He aims to expand his organic garden and sell carrots, lettuce, cabbage, and others. Father of two young kids, Wilders' dream is to inspire his 7-year-old daughter with coffee.
